Thank you for your question regarding whether you should have a 360 circumferential lower body lift now or after further weight loss. Patients who experience the best results after a circumferential lower body lift are at a stable weight after weight loss. That means you should try to lose as much weight as you possibly can before any reconstructive plastic surgery procedure. In your case, I would suggest eating right, intermittent fasting, and exercise. That means eliminating carbohydrates, sugar, and alcohol. I would also work into your day at least a 30-minute high-intensity form of exercise. I would also suggest a diet rich in high protein and vegetables. With this plan, I guarantee you will lose weight. You must be conscientious and dedicated. After you've lost the weight and your weight has been stable for at least three months, I would then consider a 360 circumferential lower body lift. Often this can be combined with a breast lift or mastopexy. We would also reexamine your body after a significant weight loss to see what kind of breast lift you would need. You may do best with an anchor mastopexy with or without fat transfer. You may also need breast implants. However, this would be determined after your weight loss. All in all, lose the weight first then consider having a 360 lower body lift. I hope I answered your question regarding whether to have a body lift now or later. I specialize in reconstructive plastic surgery after weight loss. If you have any more questions regarding the lower body lift, 360 circumferential lower body lift, belt lipectomy, belt abdominoplasty, or belt dermolipectomy please contact my office.
