I got a microlaser peel along with broadband light on Friday. Is it important to clean all the Aquaphor off each time you cleans

I was told to only use cetaphil to cleanse and aquaphor after cleansing. My question is that I never feel like i am getting all the aquaphor off my face when I cleanse. cetaphil does not cut the heavy aquaphor so I really feel like Im just spreading it around while Im trying to wash my case. I worry that this will delay the actual dead skin from peeling off. thank you

Post operative skin care is essential at this time. I recommend following up with your Dr. about appropriate after care. This may be improved with microneedling/prp and fraxel. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

IPL doesn't do any skin tightening or antiaging, its best for color of the skin.  That is why I typically recommend fraxel or RF treatments like viva, intensif over IPL for both color and texture/antiaging/wrinkles.  You can combine IPL With these treatments as well.  Best, Dr. Emer.

In my practice I use diode lasers for the best outcome. I typically have patients do every 4 weeks for the first 3 times and then every 4-6 weeks for 3 times after. It takes a series of treatments for improvement in hair reduction. I suggest you see an expert. Best, Dr. Emer.
