MLP combined with BBL is a great treatment. What worries me is that you are seeking out the advice of physicians that you've never met over the office that performed your procedure to find out how to care for your skin afterward (a critical step to obtaining the best final result). You should be in close contact with the office, and they should be giving you very clear advise on how to care for the skin that is informed by their knowledge of the exact settings. After resurfacing, I do ask my patients to gently cleanse 2-3 times a day, but depending on the setting, I usually make it clear to them that I am trying to have them remove surface dirt and dead skin, but not aggressively clean down to bare skin. With each washing, more will come off until you are fully healed. Be sure to go over this with your provider, though.
