I need a subtle Quick Lift on only one side of my face. I'm a 46 year old man who looks much younger in person?

It is possible to do a one sided facelift but it requires a complete evaluation and discussion of your goals.  The degree and direction of the pull which you are doing need clarification and communication to ensure your satisfaction with results.  Pictures are always needed for a preliminary evaluation and I am a proponent of preliminary evaluation with pictures.

A one sided facelift is usually performed in cases of one sided facial paralysis. In fact I understand Sylvester Stallone had this done because of a birth injury on one side to his facial nerve. If you watch him closely it’s pretty obvious. I don’t know if this would be a possibility in your situation. The I rice sure is rarely done other than for facial palsy.

It sounds like your options would be either thread lift or mini facelift to address your asymmetry. Thread lift can target your areas of concern to improve symmetry and only the one side of your face needs to be treated. However this is a shorter term solution then a mini facelift. My favorite technique is the MACS short scar Mini-Facelift. Developed in Europe, it is the ideal approach for the younger patient, not ready for a full facelift, or patients who desire a less invasive procedure with a shorter recovery time. It addresses both the mid face area (especially the jowls) as well as the neck, if needed. Consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon in your area to explore the best options for you.  Good luck.

A one-sided surgical face lift is possible however there will naturally be some asymmetry between the two sides after it is completed. You should also expect some hidden scarring on the side of surgery. Non-surgical options include filler or threadlifts on the lower side.
