Hair shedding won't stop even after 2.5 months use of finasteride & minoxidil 5% - when will it stop?

I had a FUE hair transplant 5 months ago and the started using finesteride 1mg (1 daily) and monoxidil 5% (twice a day) after 2 months of my hair transplant. Its been almost 3 months and my hair are keep shedding every day and every time I apply minoxidil. Need to ask how long it is fine for shedding to keep happening and when can I expect it to stop? (For the context I had the finesteride+minoxdil treatment 4 years back and responded great to it before I discontinued it couple of years back)

Hi Hair Transplant does not stop hair fall. We have to use medications as Minoxidiil, Finasteride along with Life style management as Sleep for adequate time and avoid smoking.If there is a cause for Telogen Effluvium as any stress, Fever, Typhoid, Tuberculosis or any other major illness in past can precipitate Hair Loss.When we start Minoxidil initially it causes Hair loss which stabilizes in 3 months time.So keep all these things in mind.Keep using these medicationsAvoid Smoking or any other activity which can cause Hair lossWait for next few months so that hair loss can stabilize Check ifd you have Dandruff which should be treated.
