Hello, I have had a hair transplant back On December 7, i had very great results until the 7 month while i was on minox for several days on and off for 1 or 2 days not consistently i mean. after that i have experienced a heavy hair loss in general and few bald spots due Folliculitis although it was not severe, but what is concerning me is the unreasonable har fall for almost 1.5 month. Putting in mind i recently started to be conestant with minoxidil but the shedding phase has taken too long

Thank you for your question, as per my opinion unfortunately your first hair transplant operation did not leave you with the results we would expect and hope for. You having Covid-19 during this time should not have effects on the hair transplant results, this just seems to be a poor operation....

We recommend that our patients stop all topical finasteride and/or minoxidil treatment 7 days prior to their transplant and that they resume 7 days after their transplant.
