I have Belotero filler in my eye troughs and some in my cheeks. I really need/want rhinoplasty to correct my deviated septum. Will there be any issues because of the fillers?
Answer: Rhinoplasty with filler in undereyes I perform rhinoplasty surgery on many patients who have filler in their cheeks and undereye area. As a specialist in rhinoplasty, I see this often, and unless there is an unusual situation, it would not compromise the results of the rhinoplasty. Although swelling and bruising are kept at a minimum due to the way I perform surgery, you might experience a bit of swelling in your undereye area after surgery since hyaluronic acid tends to absorb water, but this would quickly dissipate. I recommend consulting with a board-certified plastic surgeon in person to discuss your rhinoplasty and your expectations.

Answer: Rhinoplasty and Filler Hello, It should be ok to have a rhinoplasty if you have filler in your cheeks. The only potential issue I could see there would be if when you got the fillers, if you suffered some vascular complication related to the fillers in a blood vessel. Outside of that though, if your fillers went well and there were no issues, then you should be fine to have a rhinoplasty. Note: The above is intended as general plastic surgery educational material and does not constitute a personalized care plan, or a doctor patient relationship without a detailed interview, medical history, and physical exam.

Answer: Closed Atraumatic Rhinoplasty Undereye fillers isn't a barrier for rhinoplasty. You need to inform your doctor about them though. If you consider combining fat injection with a nose job in that case the fillers should be dissolved at least one month before in case if touch up might be required. Personally, I utilize Closed Atraumatic Technique to reshape the nose in the most sophisticated way by protecting the anatomy of the nose.

Answer: Rhinoplasty candidate Dear MtnSky, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Generally speaking, it is possible to get rhinoplasty if you have dermal fillers. If you are considering a treatment, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Are under eye fillers okay before rhinoplasty? In my opinion, there would not be any problem with having had Belotero under the eyes before a rhinoplasty. The filler should not affect the surgery and vice versa.
