I actually like my nose but when I was a child some people with straight noses noted that my nose is bent. I also know that male noses should be more prominent than female noses. Should I consider surgery to straighten the nose?

Your red circle may be indicative of a nasal fracture, but this may not be good reason to pursue surgery. If your nose looks good, and if you breathe without issue, there may be no need to have a nasal surgical procedure. Thank you. Dr Joseph
