I have noticed that other women with breast implants have a lot more cleavage than I do. I am almost 4 weeks post op. Will my implants get any closer? Or will they stay like this due to my anatomy? My surgeon told me not to wear bras until 6 weeks but I was told a sports bra will help bring them closer together. Why do some surgeons recommend wearing a sports bra while some do not? Will massaging help create more cleavage?

Answer: Will my implants get closer together or will they stay like this because of my anatomy? Congratulations on having undergone the breast augmentation procedure. In regards to the space between your breasts, I think that your plastic surgeon has done a very nice job; the breast implants are appropriately spaced and should not be any closer to the midline. I would not expect the space to "narrow" over time. Of course, the overall appearance of your breasts will change over the course of the next several months; hopefully they will be more "mobile" and create closer cleavage when you are wearing a bra etc. Best wishes.

Answer: Implants will not get closer together but if you work at it, its possible your implants can touch with a good push up bra. You should talk to your surgeon for instructions on what you can do NOW to help get the ability to push your implants together. But if you simply shifted your implants towards the center, your nipples would rotate to where it would look like 'fish eyes'. So yes, your anatomy had a big impact on implant position.
