What is the difference between lip filling and lip plumping?

Best case scenario is that the receptionist is poorly trained. Worst case is that the doctor doesn't actually perform alot of lip injections. Lip filling and plumping are essentially the same procedure. The lips are plumped by filling them with hyaluronic acid filler. Hopefully, you have other options in town for physician injectors. If not, I would recommend you schedule a consultation to meet the doc, talk with them and look at their photos. It is possible that the physician is highly skilled but that the receptionist has not been coached up on fillers. I don't really know that there is a difference. My preference is actually Restylane Silk. It allows for greater control of the outcome, is fairly comfortable, and has very natural results. Ultimately, it is the injector that makes the real difference, not the product.

 Hi, I agree with you that sounds confusing.  We have performed many Lip Augmentations using dermal fillers (I prefer using Juvederm, Restylane or Restylane Silk, to fill and plump up the lips to their proper aesthetic size and proportion.  Hope this helps.
