What is the maximum depth of INFINI needles that should be used in the temples/nose/chin/forehead areas?

The dept is customized to each person.  Most scars need a pass at 1-1.5 mm then another at 1.5-2.5mm.  I suggest you see an expert in combination treatments as just microneedling RF is not enough to get significant improvement in bad scars.  Best, Dr. Emer.

In my opinion, the depth of the infini treatment needs to be based on the depth of the scars. It is not important how deep individual areas can be treated. I would treat an extra  .25 to .5 mm deeper than the depth of the scars. Multiple passes can be done at different depths. Find someone who has experience with Infini and who will show you pictures.

The skin varies in thickness depending on the area of the face. For this reason, depths of needles will vary. The infini machine has an automatic mode that will set the needle depth according the the facial area. The needle depth will vary over the 3 passes. The depth will vary from 2.5mm to 1.0mm depending on the depth of the scar. Please talk with your doctor about your goals.
