Liposuction to abdomen after tummy tuck: could a bulge be internal suture damage?

User Avatar

I had a Tummy Tuck in May 2015. I had Lipo to the abdomen on July 9th, 2018, so I'm 14 days Post Op. I have a very hard bulge about 2 to 3 inches above my Belly Button which doesn't seem to get better with massage. My question is could the Cannula have damaged the Internal Sutures on the muscle from the Tummy Tuck repair resulting in a hard lump, or will this bulge just go away with time?
