BodyTite lasts 5 years. What does it mean?

As I was doing my research on BodyTite l came across a fact that people seem not to discuss enough - BodyTite on average last 5 years. What exactly does this mean? As far as I understand this is with regards to the skin tightening effect of the procedure. So what happens after five years? Does It go back to its original size? Why is the skin tightening effect not permanent (bahaving as a normal skin would) ?

Toni,To answer your question, in short, BodyTite produces a permanent result. The problem is that you will continue to age after your BodyTite procedure. Hence, over time, skin sagging will progress. Thank you for your question. While BodyTite can promote the formation of new collagen and the tightening of the fibrous septae beneath the skin, it cannot stop the aging process. "Normal skin" will age just as the tissue treated with the BodyTite will age. Duration of effect is going to be dependent on a number of factors including age, sun exposure, smoking status, genetics, etc.I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore.
