I had BodyTite on my thighs on Wednesday. Just curious how long it takes for the bulk of the swelling to go down? My feet are enormous, I can’t even get in a shoe.

Answer: Swelling in legs after BodyTite Thank you for your question. This is a difficult question to answer because it is highly dependent on your age, how much elevation you are doing with your legs, compression, physical activity, etc. Usually the more severe swelling begins to improve after 7-10 days. You are experiencing a greater degree of swelling than I typically see.Things that can be done to improve the swelling include lymphatic massages 2-3 times per week, elevation of the legs, compression, acoustic wave therapy with something like Z Wave. If you have a concern that your swelling is excessive and not improving, I recommend following up with your physician.I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore.
