Deka CO2 dot RF with high density? (Photo)

Question

Hi, am middle eastern, and have untight skin after fat transfer 2 years ago, doctor said he will perform 2 sessions with deka CO2.RF (low power high density) in scars, and (high power low density ) overall my both checks. Please advice regarding the risks.

Co2 is best for scars, but Erbium is a great alternative and is best for darker skin types. Scars need a combination approach for improvement with lasers, microneedling/prp, subcision and fillers. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with an acne scarring expert. Best, Dr. Emer

CO2 laser resurfacing is an outstanding treatment that can address multiple
aspects of aging in a single treatment such as uneven texture. We use the Deka DOT. OUr system does not have radiofrequency. Perhaps the ones overseas have it. The laser has a number of parameters that can be adjusted for the individual. For those with darker skin types I decrease the power and dwell time and increase the spacing. Stronger parameters are used for areas of particular concern such as scars. Please
consult with a doctor for specific recommendations. Good luck!

DEKA CO2 is a great laser, the good thing about it is that the operator can set a lot of parameters to adjust the treatment, scars will improve greatly than using any other laser. Just follow your dermatologist or plastic surgeon' advice. Take care of your face real well the first 5 -7 days post treatment.

ALWAYS see someone who can offer the choices. Yes in fair skin types, high density CO2 is brilliant. However in darker skin types, I do personally prefer erbium or better still RF Miconeedling with PRP. See someone who has al these devices to give you the best informed choices.
