I am not a big fan of cheek implants and prefer fat injection or filler... these problems with asymmetry and swelling are common. Wait 3 months for the swelling to subside though.
Most people have the same sized implant placed when having cheek augmentation. It is possible for both sides to not look exactly the same during the healing process because swelling can be worse on one side versus the other. I would recommend waiting about 2-3 months after the procedure to get a better idea of what your face might look like. If you still feel there is an asymmetry at that time, you should discuss this with your surgeon.
