I have started having problems with biting the inside of my cheek. The problem only began in the last year or two. As I'm close to 50, I'm wondering if the problem is loss of skin elasticity in my cheeks, and if so whether cheek implants would remedy the situation

Cheek implant inflammation and seroma after 2 months is probably what you have. I would drain the seroma and place u on antibiotics. If the drainage continued I would remove the implant--wait 2 months and put it back in. I would not use fat since it will not give you symmetry.
