I did botox yesterday is it okay to do (hifu) next week which mean after 7days or the botox effect wil be gone
Answer: HIFU after Botox treatment Typically, I ask patients to wait 1-2 weeks after Botox/Dysport treatment before having any skin tightening or laser treatments. I suspect you will be fine at 1 week out but I would mention it to your physician prior to your HIFU treatment.

Answer: Botox and HIFU Thank you for asking about having HIFU (or High Intensity Focused Ultrasound) one week after you have had Botox injections. You can most definitely have HIFU during this timeframe. I would not advise anyone to have HIFU (or any other treatment in the same area) within the first 24 hours of having Botox injections, and so 7 days is absolutely fine. Good luck with your treatment!

Answer: Tightening procedures after Botox Any procedure that raises the temperature of the skin can cause swelling and fluid accumulation in the skin which could cause the Botox to migrate if done immediately. Heat in the skin can also cause the Botox to wear off sooner. It is best to wait a week to ten days after Botox to do laser, ultrasound or radiofrequency treatments. Keeping the muscles relaxed with Botox before and after these treatments however, can produce better correction of wrinkles. Discuss the timing with your doctor. All the best to you. Alexis Parker MD
