Can the grafts fall off 55 days after FUE hair transplant? (Photo)

Question

Today is my 55 day after fue hair transplant and I found that like a small shell is pulling out from a hole in my head skin and after falling out it looked like a fatty blackhead. I hope the pictures are clear. Is the graft fallen off or it is just a small shell and this is normal. Kindly advice.

At 55 days post op there is no way to lose grafts. just continue to wash your scalp normally and wait until they grow in.

It can take 6 to 12 months after surgery to see results.  If you are concerned it is best to contact your doctor.  Grafts cannot be dislodge after a week or so.  At 55 days you are safe.

Graft shedding is normal after hair transplantation and can occur within days to months afterwards.  Your final result will not be until one year after your transplantation due to the normal hair cycle.  Best Dr. Anil Shah

Graft shedding can occur up to a few months after the hair transplant. Behind the shed grafts will be new hair that will eventually grow
