How to make my lips thinner without surgery?

Doctor Answers 2

Lip reduction

Lip reduction can be reliably performed in order to achieve a more natural and more proportionate lip. The procedure involves removing a segment of the inner lip. This can be performed on the upper and lower lip. The scars are easily hidden. Most patients are swollen for 1-2 weeks. It is important to seek out a surgeon with experience in lip reduction surgery. Unfortunately there are no reliable ways to reduce your lips without surgery.  Best Wishes Theodore T. Nyame MD  Harvard Trained Plastic Surgeon

Other than the natural process of aging, you will probably need surgery to reduce your lips. Botox can lengthen the distance between your nose and upper lip and give the appearance of a thinner lip, but you may loose some mobility and it only lasts about 3-4 months.
