I just had SculpSure on my outer thigh & it got very hard afterward. (I have been massaging it as instructed.) I then had it on my abdomen and I feel absolutely nothing. Did it work if you don't feel any soreness, etc. after the procedure? It was much less painful when I was doing the abdomen than the thigh. Thanks.

Answer: Sculpsure Results--Add Vanquish, Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra, VASER This will vary and lack of soreness doesn't indicate the procedure didn't work. It takes 3-6 months for final results with Sculpsure. Keep in mind, a combination of treatments is needed for best results with Sculpsure. I recommend combining Sculpsure with Vanquish and Venus Legacy/Exilis Ultra treatments. However, a VASER hi definition procedure would give you the best results with fat removal and shaping for the thighs but would require more downtime. Best, Dr. Emer

Comfort during treatment can be addressed by changing the power settings up or down. We get feedback from our patients and try to adjust it so there is only mild discomfort. Answer: It still worked:) Soreness is just one possible side effect of SculpSure, usually caused by the inflammatory response to the treatment. Swelling and firmness (as you described in your outer thigh) is also a normal response.
