Do SculpSure and Vanquish ME do the same thing? What's the difference?

Both are good for permanently removing stubborn areas of fat, but needs a combination approach to get the most improvement. In our office we combine Vanquish with Coolsculpting for a "Fire and Ice" treatment. I recommend that along with Venus Legacy/Exilis Ultra treatments to get the best outcomes. However, a VASER hi definition procedure would give you the best results with fat removal, contouring and definition. They are ultimately the same treatment for reducing fat. However, Velanquish requires 45 mins and 4 treatments spaced one week apart and can only treat abdomen and thighs. SculpSure is only 25 minutes and only requires 1-3 treatments, spaced 4-6 weeks apart, determined in consult. Sculpsure can also treat almost any part of the body, including the neck.

Thanks for your question.  I followed the advice I give patients on a regular basis about body contouring treatments.  Google the device name and FDA clearance.  Search for "permanent" or "temporary" in the FDA document.  This is what I found for Vanquish ME:"The XP1000 RF system is designed for temporary reduction in circumference of the abdomen by means of high-frequency electromagnetic field."SculpSure PERMANENTLY destroys fat cells.  Best of luck.

I do SculpSure which works and utilizes laser physics to bypass the skin and target the fat cells underneath. I do not know how the Vanquish with radio frequency (unipolar electricity) can do the same thing, but the apparatus looks neat on website. They say 4 treatments, ScupSure is 1-2 for 25 minutes.
