SculpSure providers: What questions should I ask during a SculpSure consultation?

Question

I’m considering sculpture for my lower abdomen and I’ve booked a couple consultations. What kind of questions do you think would be good to ask? My understanding is an aesthetician can perform this Sculpsure. Are there any particular credentials I should ask about that would indicate someone has enough training in this area? I’m very picky about who I see; and I’m even willing to travel to get the best results. Your detailed input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

I recommend seeing a board-certified Doctor for your Sculpsure treatment. Keep in mind, with Sculpsure a combination of treatments is needed. I recommend combining Sculpsure with Vanquish and Venus Legacy/Exilis Ultra treatments. We currently use a fire and ice treatment with Coolsculpting and Vanquish for good results in fat removal. However, a VASER hi definition procedure would give you the best results with fat removal, contouring and definition. See an expert for a formal evaluation. Best, Dr. Emer

In North Carolina, a physician or nurse practitioner must evaluate the client first and then a technician or aesthetician may perform the actual SculpSure treatment. You will want to ask about any pre- and post- treatment instructions, what you can expect during the treatment, and what type of results would be realistic based on your size and shape. You will also want to inquire how many treatments may be needed and when to follow up for after photos and evaluation of your final results. The provider performing the treatment should stay in the room with you in order to adjust the laser levels accordingly as well.

In California, a RN or doctor will perform the treatment. I would ask for their experience and numbers of patients they have performed the treatment on. Before and after photos and patient testimonials would also be helpful.

Based on your submitted photographs, you are an excellent candidate for SculpSure.  All the machines are supplied by the same manufacturer (Cynosure) and training provided by Cynosure is excellent.  So, I believe you can go wherever you feel most comfortable.Good Luck!
