How to sleep comfortable after Lipo 360 BBL surgery?

After 360 BBL surgery would you recommend sleeping on an inflatable mattress that as a hole cut out for the butt? (Sleeping on my tummy or on my side in general is uncomfortable for me because of my degenerative disc)

Dear Nice657515, thanks for sharing your concerns best way to sleep in my opinion is semi sitting always using your pillow. However, every surgeon has his/her own post protocol and best option is always ask for your doctors advice. Make sure you go on consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon. Each provider will have their own postoperative instructions. I suggest you talk to your provider about what their protocol is.
Some providers insist patients sleep on their abdomen. The number of days positions and sitting instructions very substantially from provider to provider.
If you don’t have a chosen provider that I suggest scheduling multiple in person, consultations with plastic surgeons in your community.
I personally allow patients to sleep on their back if they can’t sleep on their abdomen. If patients are sleeping on their back, they should put pillows under their lower back and thighs to avoid putting pressure on the grafted area.
In my opinion, the worst position to sleep is on your sides, because the pelvis will crush the fat. A lot depends on what area is grafted.
