3 years ago i had maxillofacial surgery and orthodontics to correct my overbite. The surgeon said my jaw was rotated and they had moved my lower jaw and chin forward 15mm. However as you can see from the picture my jaw is still very much out of alignment. I do not wish to have jaw surgey again, advice on other procedures will be very much appreciated. I am very self conscious of this as it feels my face is sagging and i am beginning to look like my late father many thanks jessica

Answer: Facial/Jawline Contouring -- Avoid Implants, Get Bellafill or Radiesse with Sculptra By Cannula Injection I suggest you go to a facial contouring expert who specializes in fillers and fat transfer for facial defining. Cannula injections limit side effects and give meticulous contouring. I have patients travel from all over the world for this. Do not compromise your care for cost or distance. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Correcting facial asymmetry with fillers Fillers are a great option to improve a variety of facial asymmetries - whether they are post-operative or natural. We are all somewhat asymmetric at birth. Often the volume loss associated with aging makes the imbalance more visible. One of my favorite fillers for the jawline is Radiesse because I can use it to create a crisp clean line. However a more robust hyaluronic acid filler like Voluma or Perlane can be used. If the asymmetry carries into the cheek, then replenishing with Sculptra can be helpful. See a dermatologic surgeon or other board certified core cosmetic physician for evaluation and treatment.
