What causes this weird indent on sides of face? (photos)

I have a hollow indent on sides of face coming into corners of mouth. I feel it gives me a slightly masculine and aggressive look. How can I minimize this?

Some people are shaped this way and this can easily be treated with fillers and skin tightening procedures. I suggest you speak to a well trained cosmetic dermatologist who specializes in facial contouring.  Have them use cannula injections to get a meticulous precise result.  Best, Dr. Emer.

jcdee  Hello neighbor! Thank you for the pictures.  A complete consultation is necessary in order to best guide your plan of action.  Many clients request a hallowing beneath the cheeks. some even go as far as having the fat in this area removed ( buccal fat). You did not mention but if you have had filler over the cheek and zygomatic area this will enhance the change in contour to the lower face.  Regardless this transition zone can be softened with filler.  I am a hop skip and a jump from Bloomfield and would be happy to discuss the best options with you. This is often a normal anatomic variation in a thin patient. If you are concerned about this, you should go to a plastic surgeon for consultation.

Thank you for your question and pictures.You have nice facial features, perhaps (perhaps and I am guessing) that you may have had fillers to augment your cheekbones.
