I had chalazion surgery on my bottom eyelid. Doctor told me to use steroid pomads and drop just for 10 days but I used for 2-2,5 months. I think that these steroid drops and ointments, which I used completely unconsciously and without doctor's control, caused my upper eyelid to droop. Are eyelid droops due to steroid use permanent? Can it go away over time or is surgery necessary?
