Thank you for your inquiry.  The type of scarring you have does not appear that it would be responsive to silicone sheeting.  I typically would recommend ablative fractional resurfacing for treatment of the scar of this nature.  I do use ematrix extensively for treatment of acne scarring.I would suggest obtaining an opinion from someone who has significant expertise in treating scars.

I do a combination of lasers for these types of scars, although co2 laser is prob the most effective, it has a lot of downtime.  Ematrix works great for acne scars but takes many treatments for body and other surgical scars.  I suggest seeing a laser expert for treatments or at least for a formal consultation.  Best, Dr. Emer.

These scars are too deep for effective response with sublative RF bipolar treatments. Fractional lasers would be more effective. 

First step is fractional CO2 lasers, you will need 3 treatments or more. Downtime or recovery of 2 weeks. I do like eMatrix, but I think it s role is for early and mild acne scarring.
