I had Bellafill today. I didn't receive any written instructions. I mistakenly massaged it a bit already. Have I ruined my face?

Bellafill requires multiple treatments over time to get the optimal outcome.  I am not sure why you didnt recieve instructions, but slight massage will not affect the filler.  I suggest you see a facial sculpting physician who uses a number of fillers in a layered fashion to get the best improvement.  I use bellafill for long term collagen and build/revolumization and then HA fillers on top to plump and fill fine lines and contour.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Some physicians who use Bellafill may have their patients massage after the treatment and others may not.  If you do massage, this should just be done gently.  It is very unlikely that you have caused any damage to your face by massaging it in the first 24 hours.  If you feel you need to be examined, you should contact the physician who treated you.   

Bellafill, once it is injected, can be molded for a short
time after it is injected, but usually after an hour there is no more movement
of the product that can occur. I will
have patients massage an area if they look they are getting some bruising so
the massage you did should not in any way affect your results.you
