I had Bellafill today; I didn't receive any written instructions, just was told that the filler wouldn't shift or move and that I should massage it 5mins/5x per day to ensure no lumpiness. So I massaged it a bit in the first 24 hours. Have I ruined my face? So worried...my face doesn't appear any different from before I massaged it, but still - I'm really worried.

This is one of the reasons not to inject Bellafill in the lips. With all the movement that occurs in the lips, nodularity can occur. You can try to massage this area. It is possible it can settle down. Otherwise, surgical excision will be need to remove this nodule.
Unfortunately, this problem most likely needs excision. The most common area for problems with Bellafill is the periocular area and most doctors recommend not injecting in this area. If done judiciously and deeply, Bellafill can be used, but not in your case. You have very thin skin and that i...
