It can take 6 to 12 months after surgery to see results.  If you are concerned it is best to contact your doctor. 

At 2 months there really isn't anything to be looking for. Generally at this point all or most of the transplanted hairs will have fallen out by now, and most patients are just waiting on growth to start happening in the next few months. Earliest I would expect to see growth is 3 months, but it usually takes around 5. Some people even have to wait until month 8, each patient is different.

The growth pattern of transplanted hair varies from one person to another. It is recommended that Finasteride be taken during this period for the maximum positive outcome. The natural and expected process of shedding after a hair transplant procedure typically occurs 1 month following the surgery. In terms of appearance, this is period causes the most anxiety among the patients. However, it is of great importance to be patient during this period. Your appearance will improve and look comparatively normal within 4-6 months following the surgery while the final results may take as long as 18 months to be achieved. 

It is much too early to judge your result. Early growth starts at the 3 month mark. At 6 months you will be at only about 50% growth, at 12 months you will be at roughly 90% growth. Remain patient and continue to follow your doctors post op care instructions.

well dear its too early to expect hair growth..usually it takes 3 to 9 months to get a maximum growth...so it means at least wait another 8 to 12 weeks and than u will be able to comment..

sometimes if you tale propecia after procedure,hair grows earlier but again it varies.

Nothing to expect in 8 weeks post op. Transplanted hairs start to visibly regrow between months 4-6. At month 6-9, you may expect to see growth for  80% of the transplants. Again, due to the random cycle of hair growth, not all grafts will start growing at the same time. Initially, the hair my be thinner and finer. It will gain length and density as it matures. Full growth from the transplants is usually achieved at 12 months. Good luck

You can't expect to see any to the transplanted hair at 8 weeks post operative. I tell my patients to expect to look the same as before the procedure occurred.  The new hair will begin to grow as early as 12 weeks.

The expected timetable for growth of a hair transplant is very important information that I always provide in detail--verbally and in writing--to my own patients, but which nevertheless is often forgotten after surgery. I will tell you what I tell my patients when they ask about the lack of any visible growth prior to 4 months: if you see nothing at all, you're right on schedule! Growth of the transplanted hair is very gradual--the different follicles are at different stages in their growth cycles, and don't all begin growing at the same time. You should begin to see some light growth at 4 months. The next 4 months will be a lot more fun than the first 4, bringing you 70%-80% the final result  you should see 12-15 months after your surgery. At 8 weeks there is usually nothing to see. Wait another 4-5 months and you should see the hair grows by then with 80% grown by the 8th month.
