At 2 months there really isn't anything to be looking for. Generally at this point all or most of the transplanted hairs will have fallen out by now, and most patients are just waiting on growth to start happening in the next few months. Earliest I would expect to see growth is 3 months, but it usually takes around 5. Some people even have to wait until month 8, each patient is different.

It is recommended that Finasteride be taken during this period for the maximum positive outcome. The natural and expected process of shedding after a hair transplant procedure typically occurs 1 month following the surgery. In terms of appearance, this is period causes the most anxiety among the patients. However, it is of great importance to be patient during this period. Your appearance will improve and look comparatively normal within 4-6 months following the surgery while the final results may take as long as 18 months to be achieved.
