I think you have pretty good result with upper eyelid surgery. The patients with younger age are prone to develop hypertrophic scar, from the photo the scar looks normal. I recommend you to use St. John's Wort oil with the massage to reduce the pain. Please don't forget this oil is photosensitive, you should apply it in the evening and rinse in the morning. Sun protections creams are useful to prevent skin coloration.

Based on your photo, you appear to have a pleasing upper eyelid result. It is not clear what is causing your pain based on your narrative and your photo. I'm sorry to hear of the pain you are experiencing. Since it seems to be ongoing it's best to get a second opinion by an ophthalmologist to help properly diagnose and treat your concern.

Surgeons are typically not very good at managing chronic pain.
Whether the pain is caused from the procedure or you rubbing your eyebrow, surgeons still aren’t going to be very good at managing it as a general statement.
If your procedure was not done by an oculoplastic surgeon, then consider consulting with one in your community.
