It will take 3 to 6 months for your breasts to completely settle. Patients who are thin and have tight tissue take a longer time to reach their final result. Continue to follow your surgeon's instructions.

Yes it is very difficult to be patient for the breast to take shape.  So let's explain what you are seeing.  They look tight, feel tight, sit high, and flattened as you look down.  That's exactly what you should expect to see especially under the muscle.  This is all caused by tightness of the muscle and tissue.  the tight muscle flattens the top of the implant, pushes the implant up, and causes the breast to feel very firm - this is exactly what you see in the photos and what your are describing.  This is perfectly normal and expected at 12 days.It will take 4 months, at least, for the muscle to stretch and relax around the implant.  As the muscle stretches the breast will take more shape around the shape of the implant.  Things get softer, the implants drop into the expanded pocket, and the breast gets more projected as the implant is no longer flattened by tightness.  Keep up with your massage and be patient.  You've got 3 more months till things look the way you'd like most likely.  Best wishes!!!
