As long as you have been properly treated for the infection and you have no sign of recurrence after you have finished the antibiotics, you may be a candidate for another BBL. I would wait several months after for the tissues to get softer. This will likely make your BBL more successful. Please consult with a board certified plastic surgeon.

I recommend consulting with your plastic surgeon and an infectious disease specialist to inspect this skin infection. This is a complicated issue requiring the cooperation of a plastic surgeon and the infectious disease specialist. Having one infection does not mean that you could have a second one . However, many factors both general and local need to evaluated by the surgeon prior to surgery.
