It is possible that the doctor is lying to me? He is doing endoscoping lifting and not a deep plane

Question

I'm going to pay for a deep plane lifting, but the documents say the middle of the face is endoscopic and deep plane. I talked to the doctor and he says that he also uses the endoscope to help him, but still the nurse said that in 5-7 years I won't need changes to my face (it's not like they do an endoscopy and cut a little skin on the ears and say it's deep plane, only deep plane lasts 10-15 years) I paid 1000€ in advance. How do I know that he will do deep plane lifting?

It is not true to say that 'Deep plane can not combined with mid face lifting. '

Midface-lifting surgery is challenging owing to the difficulty of adequately releasing the soft tissues overlying the zygomaticomaxillary region. And it is also challenging to resuspend them effectively. A comparison of the extended transtemporal midface-lift and deep-plane face- lift  had been performed almost 13 years ago by a group of well known deep plane surgeons  and they demonstrated that there was statistically significant advantage of the transtemporal midface-lift on elevating the nasolabial fold, particularly the melolabial suspension suture.

If you have prominent melolabial and nasolabial folds then this combination will most probably ensure the best satisfactory result.

Briefly, deep plane lifting can be fruitfully combined with mid face lifting.

Endoscopic mid face lifts are different from the deep plane lift done on the entire face.  The doctor is taking liberty in his description because it is technically close to bone and deep to most structures, but is not a deep plane facelift.

You need to get more of the technical details from your surgeon. It is possible that you are getting a deep plane facelift as well as something being done endoscopically

Any Surgeon who performs endoscopic forehead lifts has endoscopic equipment in their operating room.  The two questions are: Do you need an endoscope for elevation of the mid-face during a deep plane facelift?  The simple answer is "NO". What is the relevance of an endoscopic mid-face lift in 2023?  I am not sure.  "High SMAS" elevation of the mid-face during a deep plane facelift will elevate the cheek mound, obviating other techniques.  A deep plane facelift is a SMAS based composite technique that appropriately allows for skin removal.  An endoscopic mid-face lift belongs in a small reference to the 1990's in a textbook.
