In the US we do not have Juvederm 2,3,or 4 We have Juvederm Ultra and Ultra Plus. 4 May be like the newest one,Voluma. All of these can be used in lips, so it depends on how much volume you desire. 3 or Juvederm Ultra Plus is probably the most common. Consult your provider for a personalized evaluation.
If you are concerned about longevity of the lip augmentation, you may want to consider using lip implants.Implants are a more permanent solution, and can be reversed at a later time if you so desire. Fillers are a more temporary solution and need to be performed every 6-9 months or so. Both options are popular in my practice and give a very natural appearing result. Please consult with a board certified specialist who can better assist you in achieving the results you seek.
There are in fact different types of Juvederm. I believe you are referring to Juvederm Ultra (3) or Ulta Plus (4) In fact I almost never use anything other than Juvederm Ultra Plus (from Allergan) or Perlane (from Medicis) in the lips. If I want plumping I use Juvederm UP and if I want more definition I use Perlane

Your scenario sounds much more like an infection than an allergic reaction to Juvederm. I would urge you to take this up with the person who did the injection, both to make them aware of your situation and to have some questions answered. What is their diagnosis of the complication,...
Thank you for your question. It is difficult to give you advice with seeing before and after photos. However, technique is very important when having lip augmentation, therefore you will want to see an expert. Some great fillers to help create a symmetrical lip are Volbella, Restylane and...
You should consult a certified dermatologist, plastic surgeon or facial plastic surgeon for assessment. Hopefully, it is too much filler placed incorrectly, but infection should be ruled out. If the problem is just too much filler, it may be melted with hyaluronidase and you can...
