After Moh surgery for BCC with flap, I got loads of spider veins on my nose, where I had the surgery. How soon after surgery can I treat the veins. Plus which is better IPL or Veinwave or Iridex 940 etc? Thanks.

Answer: Laser treatment for spider veins on nose I use the pulsed dye laser routinely to reduce redness and spider veins within scars. The exact time to treat should be determined by your doctor but I don't believe that it's necessary to wait six months. I like the Iridex 940 laser but it works better for red purple spider veins than for bright red ones. My go-to laser for scars after surgery is the pulsed dye laser.

Answer: Would wait to treat nasal veins. Nasal veins can be treated by many methods very well including laser, IPl, micro needle radio frequency and sometimes even sclerotherapy. The method used depends on the kinds of nasal veins and the experience of the treating physician. Since you have had a flap closure, I would prefer to wait to at lease the 6 months post before treating those veins.
