Permanent dark under-eye circles after rhinoplasty - advice? (photo)

Hello, I'm making this topic in the hopes that you can offer me some advice. I have permanent dark under-eye circles after rhinoplasty. The surgeon advised me to use a cream that was never given to me. There is no communication anymore, and no one answers my phone calls, so I am on my own. Is there a skin-peeling product that I can purchase in a pharmacy or online? I would very highly value any advice you give me.

In our experience, all bruising after rhinoplasty fades. Based on your photos, you may be seeing shadowing in your under eye area. Also, it’s not clear how long ago surgery was performed. Hope this helps. Dr Joseph

Permanent shadows under the eyes after rhinoplasty: after rhinoplasty there is usually bruising under the eyes. Bruising is blood under the skin. The blood contains hemoglobin which transports iron. In some people, particularly those with dark pigmentation under the eyes the iron in the blood may stain the skin. This is called hemosiderin. It may persist long after the bruising has gone but eventually, to my knowledge fades away, though it may take months. You have not indicated how long postop you are
