Can my nasal tip look like this? (photos)

Question

As I am half Caribbean I know my skin is different and is quite thick. I just want detailed answers to what can and can't be done to my nose . I don't know what to expect or how it could look. And to even know whether or not my nose would benefit from a surgery . The last thing I want to do is make it look worse . Can my nose be improved ? Mainly in the tip area?

Thank you for your question. Looking at your pictures I can say that your nasal tip has a bifid tip (groove in the middle of tip and columella) with bulbousness. This is because the nasal tip alar cartilages are separated from each other, and it is possible to change it into the desired shape by nasal tip plasty.During the operation, alar cartilages will be gathered and realigned via suture technique. In your case I would expect a really great result.

Sure. Many people with broad, flat nasal tip appearances may achieve a narrower and more defined tip appearance with well performed rhinoplasty. Consult with a few nasal specialists. Hope this helps. Dr Joseph
