Can I expect for my implants to ever look any bigger? 2 weeks & 5 days post op (Photos)

Question

Hi guys, I'm coming up to 3 weeks post op. I had 335cc rounds, high profile under the muscle (Natrelle, Inspira) 335cc was the maximum that any surgeon would agree to do. I don't know if I can expect for them to "drop and fluff" at any point? I can see if they get any smaller I'll want to arrange a revision for a bigger implant, how many months after 335cc inserted can I then go up to a lager implant? Anyway, how do they look to you? Do they look ok?

Thank you for the question, and the photos. You are early in your post operative course. The implants will typically rise up after surgery.  They typically start to fall at one month.  They can take 6 to 12 months to get to their appropriate position.  This is the "drop and fluff" phenomenon that you are talking about.  Please follow your Plastic Surgeon's instructions.  Each Board Certified Plastic Surgeon may have their own protocol, and each patient is different.  Let them know your thoughts.

Thanks for this question. I do believe you will drop and fluff pretty soon. It is important to understand the limitations when asking for a breast augmentation and also with revision surgery. I ask my patients to wait a full 12 months and to achieve the final results before moving forward with revision. You'd be surprise how many patients that were concerned like you in the early period they're too small are extremely happy when things fully mature. Always follow up with your plastic surgeon at 1 year. Thank you for your question. It is not uncommon to have swelling. Breasts may not heal at the same rate, causing one breast to appear different than the other. It can take up to 12 weeks for the implants to settle and you to see the final result. Allow more time prior to considering a revision. Follow up with your board certified surgeon to address your concern. Good luck!
