I am a 21 yr old male that took accutane for 2 months and stopped because of hair shedding. However, after 6 months, I’ve noticed that even my pubic hair has spots where hair is growing thinner and slower. The hair on my head keeps shedding and I’m seeing patches of visible scalp with one circular patch that the derm injected steroids in. She said that it may be alopecia areata, but judging from what I’m seeing, I think accutane may have permanently thinned some hair follicles. What should I do?
