Question

Skin near the recipient area is full with thick dandruff and yellowish, is this normal? Can I use Anti-Dandruff Shampoo like Head & Shoulder in recipient area? w/o affecting the new hair?Still have one dot size scab on recipient area, I accidentally rubbed it, there was a little bleeding, it’s been almost two weeks but it didn’t heal it seems it has a puss inside. What should I do to that? is it serious?or it will go on its own? Got Seborrhoeic dermatitis esp. around my nose and eyebrows.

Hello. I understand your concern given the things you are seeing. I think its best you see your surgeon, you could have an infection and if so it needs to be treated. Good luck.

At 60 days, you should not have any scabs left. I wonder if the scab reflects an abscess or cyst rather than just crusting. If it doesn't come off with a good shampoo, see your surgeon
