All people have facial asymmetry. During embryological development, the two sides of the face develop independently from each other, and eventually use in the midline. Most of the asymmetry found in all people is based on skeletal structure. Most peoples left eye socket sits higher in their skull than the right side, and this appears to be true for you as well. There is no indication for correcting this since it’s normal. Your degree of facial asymmetry is very much within what’s considered normal. Everybody has facial asymmetry and then that way you are no exception. The human brain is accustomed to seeing facial asymmetry as being normal. If anything seeing Images of perfectly symmetrical faces that are computer generated often have an odd or unfamiliar appearance. This is probably because you’ve never seen a person who has a symmetrical face. There’s no reason to treat this, and there’s certainly no nonsurgical option that’s going to do much for you. If you look carefully at people around you, you’ll start to discover that everyone has this degree of a symmetry or even more. Best, Mats Hagstrom, MD
