Unsightly purple eyelid vein - options to remove or shrink? (Photos)

I am wanting to get a double eyelid lift and laser resurfacing. My left eye area, has a purple vein that is distended and is very unattractive. Including pictures. What are my options to remove or shrink this vein? Thanks.
