African American skin with acne scars: Microneedling with PRP aftercare tips?

I just received my first microneedling w/ PRP 3 days ago. My nurse told me I can go back to my regular routine after 4 hours of PRP on my face. I haven’t because I don’t want to risk disrupting the healing process. Could anyone share aftercare tips? When can I go back to heavy sweating exercises? Exfoliating (my skin is now peeling)? Make-up? Should I use sunscreen - chemical or mineral? I just bought these ZO® SKIN HEALTH Complexion Renewal Pads - when should I start using those? Thank you!

After care should be fully explained to you by the rendering physician as it does vary per individual. Moreover, at my practice we typically advise waiting 7-10 days before resuming rigorous workouts. Exfoliation is recommended at about 10-14 days. Mineral sunscreen is the gold standard. Your skin care pads can be used once you start back on your regular skin care routine at about 7-10 days post procedure. I suggest following up with the rendering physician. Best, Dr. Emer.

You should listen to your practitioner for sure. If you have questions like the ones you have, you need to bring it up with her or the supervising physician. Post op instructions, particularly early on, are a very big deal.Best of luck to you.
