2 years ago I had a raised white mole removed via kyrotherapy. I noticed about a year ago that it was growing back so I did another session of kyrotherapy. A few months ago I noticed there’s a raised place where the mole used to be. I went to a laser clinic and they told me that it was a scar. I need to know the best option for treatment! I start modeling in less than 4 months!

This scar can be improved with laser spot treatment, fillers, microneedling/prp and subcision to help texture and blending. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a scarring expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Microneedling is a great treatment for scars. It softens and breaks down the scar tissue, resulting in smoothing out the uneven skin. A great addition to the microneedling is PRP (plasma) to increase the regeneration of the tissue. It may require few sessions, but it's one of the most effective treatments available with less downtime than a laser treatment.
