Safe to sauna 5 days after microneedling? (photo)

Question

Got microneedling done 5 days ago and my skin is close to being back to normal--still some light pink patches but mostly done peeling and with makeup, you can't tell. Is it safe to use an infrared sauna at this point?

I recommend following up with your Doctor about their protocol for sauna use post treatment and skin care recommendations. We suggest all patients follow up with facials like Silk Peel Dermalinfusuion to hydrate, exfoliate and provide the skin with antioxidants. Sun protection is also essential. I always combine microneedling with prp and lasers to get the best outcomes. We do treatments every 3-6 weeks. Best, Dr. Emer
