Veneers with extra lateral Incisor?

Question

Is it possible for me to have a standard teeth layout via veneers if I have an extra lateral incisor on my left side? I've had braces so its aligned with all my other teeth, but i'm wondering if it's possible to perhaps have it removed as I replace my current front teeth with veneers

Without photos, I can't be certain, but just given the information above, I'll say:Option 1: The extra lateral incisor can likely be shaped with veneers to look like a canine, which should normally be in that position. The existing canine could likely be shaped into a premolar. The premolars and molars are not as noticeable in the smile, so an extra premolar-looking tooth will not stand out much, if at all, in your smile.Option 2: Remove the extra lateral incisor, undergo further orthodontic treatment to close the space and move the teeth behind into the proper position. After this is completed, a normal and symmetrical dental veneers procedure should be possible.

Hello, in the presence of extra teeth, the normal appearance of the teeth in terms of proportion and number will be disrupted, so it may not be appropriate to perform veneer treatment in the situation you described, but it is still useful to see your intraoral photographs for an accurate evaluation.
