If its only one tooth and a small chip, I normally recommend a composite to replace it. Sometimes it may just need some smoothing or adjustment to feel more normal. If it is bigger and never feels comfortable, porcelain veneers will feel more natural when done correctly. Porcelain will last longer and be stronger. The thing about porcelain is you may have to prep the teeth a little bit more and I recommend always doing an even number so that it matches from the left to the right side.
