Uneven eyes after upper eyelid surgery (Photo)

A six weeks period after surgery is too short to evaluate your result. Swelling of the eyelids is usually different from side to side and that is the most frequent reason for asymmetry. Gentle massage, application of pressure and patience are few things you can do. Patient should not judge the result of surgery like blepharoplasty at least 6-8 months after surgery, usually longer. Ptosis is a condition where there is droopiness of the upper eyelids. We can see that you have excessive upper eyelid show on both sides, and this may be a bit more pronounced on the right. Since you were relatively early after your surgery, much of this will improve spontaneously in so far as symmetry. If you have persistent concerns, please bring this up with your surgeon.
