Saline usage post rhinoplasty - Are there different options?

Considering a rhinoplasty this year. I understand that surgeons recommend using saline post op. My issue is when I use a saline I become very sneezy and nose becomes itchy on tthe inside (almost allergy type feeling). What can I do to minimize discomfort caused by saline post op? Are there specific types of saline that are better?

Every surgeon will have their own protocol for how to manage supplements and medications. I recommend that my patients stop any herbal supplements for 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after surgery. I would recommend talking with your surgeon and asking their specific policy.
