I was wondering if only six sessions are enough to treat with laser on a bikini area?

The average cost for each session is around 75$. Of course it depends on the hair type but fortunately i don't have dark hair so I hope it will be sufficient, what do you think?Thank you .

Thank you for your question.The hair has to have pigment in order for it to attract the laser. Blonde, white/grey and red hair do not work for laser hair removal due to lack of pigment. To be sure what is best for you, see two or more board-certified providers in your area for a complete evaluation to make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to have treatment.I hope this helps.

Thank you for your question. You do need to have pigment in your hair for the treatments to be beneficial. Speak to your provider to see if you are a good candidate for this. 5-10 treatments, 4-6 weeks apart is the average of recommended treatments. Best wishes,Pablo Prichard, MD

Hello,  The hair follicles definitely need to have pigment in order for the laser to see it.  6 sessions should be sufficient, usually done 4 weeks apart in that area.  If the hair is light in color it may not be effected at all.  If the laser doesn't see the pigment, it has no target. Good Luck!
